On most of our tours we offer non-bike options for cyclists who want to take the afternoon off, or for non-cyclist travel companions.

Some of these options may require booking in advance of your trip–please contact your travel specialist for more information. Fees and/or transportation for these activities may not be included in the tour price. Some non-biking options while staying in this area such as:

On-site assistance

When you’re on a self-guided tour, you should feel comfortable changing a flat tire, as it’s a common occurrence when cycling. You’ll receive GPX files along with all the routes available on Ride With GPS, detailed instructions, and recommendations. In the rare event of a bike breakdown or mechanical issue that requires more than just a repair, you’ll have detailed contact information with emergency phone numbers to call for help in your language.

Assistance for groups

For private groups of 6 people or more, a support vehicle can be offered as an option. Contact us for details.

Ground

In this beautiful region, get ready to explore breathtaking hilly panoramas! The roads are peaceful and winding. Depending on the area, this region has a rich elevation gain, although the climbs are generally long and gentle, offering a real playground for cyclists of all levels.
